Beach Elopement in West Haven, Connecticut

This couple had been engaged for quite some time now. Yet, covid made them re-think their original wedding date. While they originally set out to wait out the pandemic and hold a much larger wedding, they got a point where that was no longer an option. They could wait another day! And so, they called me.
Amber and I spoke for some time on the phone. She knew she would elope at the West Haven Courthouse, but needed a location for a post-elopement photoshoot. After scouting several nearby locations, we settled on Savin Rock Park in West Haven, Connecticut.
Although they were no strangers to taking individual portraits, I could tell they were a little less familiar as a couple. I guided them through the different poses and assigned them fun tasks as I photographed them away. We left that day with some of the most gorgeous couple's photos
