The Silver Coast's secluded coves and the charm of the Lisbon coast also have their allure, one being that it’s close to the capital. Before finalizing your choice, take into account the accessibility, and the availability of accommodations nearby.

Ursa Beach is an ideal choice for the adventurous couple! This beach is celebrated for its dramatic cliffs, golden sands, and striking rock formations, which come together to form a breathtaking setting. If you love hiking through steep and rocky paths, Ursa Beach is tailor-made for you. However, if you'd prefer not to make the trek down to the beach, there are some breathtaking cliffside views overlooking Ursa Beach, which also makes it a captivating spot for an ideal beach elopement in Portugal.

Arrábida National Park, Portugal (50 km/31 mi from lisbon) 

Arrábida National Park is celebrated for its unspoiled beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for your ceremony and photographs. Some beaches are easily accessible, while others require hiking or boat access. Whichever you choose, Arrábida National Park's compelling blend of natural beauty and seclusion makes it an exceptional choice for a memorable beach elopement in Portugal.

Praia dos Três Irmãos is a picturesque beach, with golden sands, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. During the quieter off-peak season, you can enjoy an intimate atmosphere that adds a special touch to your elopement experience. The beach is relatively easy to reach, ensuring convenience for you and your guests.  I will say, it can get crowded during the peak season.  Additionally, navigating permits and adhering to local regulations are factors to consider in your planning. Overall, Praia dos Três Irmãos offers a Gorgeous backdrop for an ideal a beach elopement in Portugal.

1. Photographer/Videographer:

  • A skilled photographer or videographer is essential to capture the moments you'll cherish forever. They will preserve the memories of your beach elopement in Portugal, allowing you to relive the experience.  Get to know your personal style, whether it leans towards traditional, contemporary, candid, or artistic.   When you understand your preferred aesthetic, it becomes easier to find a photographer whose portfolio aligns with your vision. You may also  opt for a small  picnic on the beach, or make a reservation at a nearby restaurant.  It’s your elopement so the possibility is endless..

Flowers typically match the color scheme of the wedding and elopement. And if you are unsure, a great florist will work with you to make an arrangement(s) that works for you.

  • If your beach location is a bit remote, arranging transportation for you and your guests is essential to ensure everyone arrives comfortably and on time. Sometimes hotels may offer transportation or can even reserve a 3rd party for you. Rideshares such as  Uber and Bolts are typically  available in most cities and many small towns. This can also be an option. 

7. Hair and Makeup Artist:

  • For that picture-perfect look, a skilled hair and makeup artist can enhance your natural beauty, helping you feel confident and radiant on your special day.  When reviewing their portfolio, look for artists that have worked with similar complections and hair textures to yours. Also look for a similar hair and makeup style to what you are looking for.

8. Accommodations:

  • The right choice of lodging not only provides a comfortable and convenient base for you and your guests but also sets the tone for a memorable experience. Whether it's a beachfront villa, a charming coastal hotel, or a cozy seaside cottage, the accommodations should offer the necessary amenities for a stress-free and romantic celebration.

9. Entertainment:

  •  Live music, a DJ, or other entertainment can set the tone for your celebration. Choose performers or musicians whose style aligns with your vision.  Another option is to simply create a playlist and connect to a sound system. In this elopement, the couple hired drum players and fire artists.

10.  Activities:

  •  Consider adventure activities like hiking or paragliding, private boat tours for stunning coastline views, wine tastings, romantic beachside picnics, and sunset cruises. It’s your day so the options are limitless.
